    1928年，于齐河城南坛设河工公电局，只可代打商电。1951年，县邮电局开办齐河至济南话机传报业务。1964年，开通齐河至济南、齐河至德州幻象人工电报电路，配备音响机、音频震荡器各一部。1973年，开通齐河至德州无线人工电报电路，配备“八一型”15瓦收发报机一部。1975年，齐河至德州改为电传电路，配备上海“五五型”电传打字机两部。1980年，县委办公室设置传真机两台，用以传递机要公文。至1985年，全县计有无线收发报机3台，电传打字机3部，传真机2台。
