    以动、植物的异常活动，预测近期天气变化，叫做物候。在武城一带流传已久，验之有效的物候现象有：
    （一）蚂蚁搬家，蛇过道，必定大雨到。
    （二）蠓虫碰脸，下雨不远。
    （三）燕子低飞，蚂蚁打架，大雨要下。
    （四）蜻蜓低飞，雨来到；燕子钻天，下满湾。
    （五）蜘蛛封门，大雨来临。
    （六）青蛙高处叫，大雨快来到。（七）鱼翻湾，要闹天。
    （八）家鸡发愁，迟宿，主阴雨。
    （九）腰疼腿疼疮疤痒，大雨不过晌。
    （十）草长白根，雨送信。
    （十一）水缸穿裙，雨将来临。
