    汉族和回族在禹城居住已久。据清光绪年间县志记载，“邑无旗丁”，全县只有汉族和色目人(回族)。后来，其他民族均因工作、婚嫁等因迁入较晚。侵华日军宣布无条件投降回国时，遗有大和民族妇女。1982年普查人口全县有汉族410594人，占总人口的98.7％；回族5459人，占总人口的1.31％；满族26人；族2人；蒙古族、维吾尔族、朝鲜族、京族各1人；其中，回族多数分布在十里望、二十里堡、来凤、大程、辛寨等公社，数十里望公社最多，计3079人。
