    建国初期，体育工作由县文化馆专人负责。1956年4月30日，成立县体育运动委员会。委员11人，副县长兼主任，设专职干事1人。1965年，设专职干事2人，1973年2月21日，设专职副主任。1985年，体育运动委员会主任1人，专职干部9人。
