    1949年起，各区设人民武装部，有部长1人，干事2人，为现役军人。1954年撤销区人民武装部，只保留1名现役武装助理员。1958年4月，各乡建立人武部，同年12月改称公社人武部。1984年4月又改称乡(镇)人武部，有部长1人，干事1-2人，为地方干部。
