    1953年12月，建禹城县人民检察署，次年1月正式办公，由检察长、检察员、秘书3人组成。1956年1月，改称人民检察院。“文革”期间，公、检、法合为一体，称公检法领导小组。1978年6月28日恢复人民检察院，同年10月1日正式办公，设办公室，干部5人。1979年12月，院下增设批捕股、起诉股、经济检察股、法纪股、监所股。1980年11月增设信访股。1984年10月股改科。1985年全员50人。
