    1932年(民国21年)，禹城县设度量衡检定所，有所长1人，检定员1人。统一度量衡市制，废除旧制。为省专业机构下属单位，与本县为合作关系。
    新中国建立后，1963年建县度量衡所，设所长1人，管理员3人。1980年更名为禹城县标准计量所。1985年有干部职工9人，临时工7人。全县工商主管部门共有计量室3个，专职计量员3人，计量科、股6个，专职计量员25人，12个企业还设兼职计量管理员。
