    1951年3月，木业社成立投产。同年改称为木器厂，有职工25人，手工操作，主要生产小农具、家具，产值5万元。自1960年，该厂实现了半机械化作业，生产能力逐年提高。1985年有职工76人，机电设备齐全，生产家具25个品种计2411件，产值30余万元。1981年6月，县组建社会福利厂，设带锯组、木工组，1983年增设木工学校，1985年该厂有职工47人，加工木材825立方米，木制家具580件，产值18.2万元，盈利0.6万元。
