    1949年6月，县棉花加工厂建成投产，年产皮棉13.2万担。1984年该厂更名为油棉加工厂。1985年产细绒皮棉、棉短绒共万余吨。1959年8月，房寺棉花加工厂建成投产，1984年更名为油棉加工厂，1985年生产细绒皮棉6600余吨。1981年，肖寺油棉加工厂建成投产，1985年产细绒皮棉、棉短绒共1200余吨。
