    1957年，县广播站每天18:00点至20:00点播音一次。后改为12:00点—13:00点、16:00点—17:00点播音两次。除转播中央台的“新闻联播”、“新闻与报纸摘要”、“各地人民广播电台联播”和省台“新闻”外，还有自办节目。
    为加强广播宣传，还重视开展通讯工作。全县通讯员的发展与稿件状况比较如下：

    1957年 150人 3,400件
    1962年 419人 3,400件
    1977年 290人（骨干）2,520件
    1984年 215人 5,037件
    受地区以上表扬，被评为优秀稿件的有：《骨血无缘母女情》、《为了让别人生活更美好》、《每当想起毛主席》、《三家村新话》、《一个好媳妇的情操》等。1985年被评为全区来稿先进单位。
