    实行婚姻登记后，公开干涉婚姻自主的事件大为减少，婚姻自主的人越来越多。自1950年8月至1952年8月，全县有408对青年男女冲破封建婚姻制度的束缚，自由恋爱，到政府领取结婚证书；有138名被迫订了婚的男女青年，解除了婚约；有645对夫妇办理了离婚登记；有184个寡妇改了嫁。1980年以来，在婚姻登记中重视了进行晚婚节育优生教育，使全县晚婚率男性保持在69.1%左右，女性保持在72.2%左右。城镇的晚婚率，男女均保持在95%以上。
