    婚姻登记，开始由县人民政府和各区公所办理，各区公所每月向县人民政府汇报1次。1953年3月，国务院批转了内务部颁发的《婚姻登记办法》后，婚姻登记由县民政科统一办理，结婚者在民政科或各区公所登记，民政助理员每月向民政科汇报1次。1958年后，由公社、乡（镇）民政助理员办理。
