    解放初期，本市初婚年龄呈上升趋势，新《婚姻法》颁布后，初婚年龄始趋于下降。全市未婚人口中，男性未婚比例远高于女性，男性有偶率也高于女性，但女性丧偶率却高于男性，女性离婚后再婚率也高于男性。
    建国后，全市总人口增加，户数增多，至1990年户数有较大增长，但户平均人口却逐年减少，与历次人口普查时相比呈逐年下降趋势。
