    德州是多民族聚居地区，但汉族人口占绝大多数。长期以来，由于历史和文化的原因，汉族人民在生活和劳动中，形成了各种各样的风俗习惯。这些风俗有良有莠，随着时代的变迁，也在不断地发展变化。解放后，人民政府提倡移风易俗，陈风陋习逐渐消亡，尊老爱幼、婚事简办、见义勇为、助人为乐等一些新的社会风尚已经形成。
