    德州市属暖温带轻亚干旱季风气候区，大陆度为63%，具有显著的大陆性气侯特征。其主要特点是：四季分明，干湿季明显，春季干旱多风，夏季炎热多雨，秋季凉爽兼有旱涝，冬季干冷雨雪少。全年最多风向是西南偏南风。日平均气温≥≥0℃的农耕期平均有283天，≥10℃的植物生长期平均209天。平均无霜期206天。极端最高气温43.4℃，极端最低气温-27℃，均为山东全省之最。在农作物生长季节，光照充足，热量丰富，雨量较充沛，发展农牧业有得天独厚的条件。但
    旱、涝、风、雹是农业发展的主要障碍因素。
