    县境内土壤种类较多。1959年，第一次土壤普查，按土壤耕层的特性，分为黄土、红土、黑土、白土、沙土、碱土、石渣土7种类型。1985年，第二次土壤普查，又按照土壤发生学特点，分为褐土、潮土、砂姜黑土3个土类，9个亚类，17个土属，76个土种，总土壤面积为1537198亩。
