    清代，境内人口性别构成无考。
    民国时期，政府搞过两次人口调查，男性均高于女性。其中民国15年（1926年）男116365人，女100478人，性别比例（设女性为100,下同）为100:116.08；民国22年（1933年）男135096人，女119142人。性别比例为100:113.39。
    建国后，1949～1961年连续13年性别比例均在100:91.76～92.31范围内，1980年性别比例100:103，1985年性别比例为100:102.14。
按年龄组计算，表示如下：
