    境内发现病害98种，虫害9目45科193种。建国后到1985年主要病虫害共大发生147年次，常发性病虫害76年次，占总数的51.7%，平均每种病虫害12.7年次。偶发性病虫害40年次，占总数的27.2%，平均每种病虫3.6年次。隐发性病虫害31年次，占总数的21.1%，平均每种病虫害5.1年次。合作化前，境内各种农作物病虫害均有发生，无防治。1956年后，化学农药传入，开始防治。70年代中期，建立县、乡、村三级病虫害测报网，防治效果逐步提高，病虫害基得到控制。进入80年代，病虫害大发生年次极少出现，即使发生亦不足成灾。
