                           第四节    无线寻呼
  
    1994年5月，县内开通“126”人工与“127”自动寻呼台。1995年3月与全省联网。1997年6月，开通“9899”第二寻呼台。由于具有携带方便、漫游全国等特点，佩戴寻呼机（也称BP机）一度成为时尚。当年，全县拥有无线寻呼用户2406户。1999年后，移动通信迅猛增长，通信更为方便的手机自然取代了还需借助电话机完成通信联系的BP机。2002年3月，沾化县已没有无线寻呼用户，无线寻呼完成历史使命。
