    乡党委、政府于1996年冬从陵县引进韭菜新品种，开辟韭菜种植园，建立韭菜批
发基地。 从颜家村抽出4公顷良田，由30户农民平均承包。1997年上半年育苗，下半
年移栽。长成后，15天左右可割一茬，一年可割10茬左右。这种韭菜叶大肉厚，叶脉
无粗纤维， 叶子脆嫩， 营养丰富，味美可口而易消化，韭菜可长到40～50厘米高，
0.5～1厘米宽，亩可收获2500公斤，比本地韭菜高产近1倍。一上市就受到普遍欢迎，
比本地韭菜更畅销，当年收割8茬，收入1.2万元。
