    县境域内洪灾由黄河、 徒骇河等泛滥形成，以黄河泛滥成灾为主。自1855～195
5年的百年间，共遇水患20多次，其中清末1882～1896年(清光绪年间) 的15年间，就
有13年水患。洪水所经处房屋倒塌，庄稼淹没，给人民带来巨大灾难。建国后，共产
党和人民政府根治黄河，多次疏浚治理徒骇河，加固堤防，洪水驯服入海。自1955年
后再未受洪灾之苦。
