    1958年始建档案馆，职工1名。1962 年新建档案科，与县档案馆合署办公，职工
4名; 同时县党政机关和企事业部门均建 立档案室，总计31个。1971年档案科并入县
委机要档案组， 职工3名。1980年6月 建无棣县档案局，原机要档案组撤销。档案局
    同档案馆合署办公， 职工4名。1987年 档案局和档案馆职工增至9名，在中心大
街西段路北建三层档案楼一座，改善了档案保管条件。1990年县档案局有职工14名。
