    清代无棣县水路航线有海上航线和内河航线两类。海上航线自埕口出鬲津河口西
北行到塘洁，东北到大连，东南经烟台、青岛达宁波，内河航线自埕口顺鬲津河上行
达德州。1888年(清光绪十四年) 贾家庄建防潮闸后，内河航线断绝;40年代四女寺减
河 (鬲津河) 内线到埕口的船只亦减少。1956年无棣海上航线改以傅家堡子为起点。
1971年东风港建成后，通航线路有很大的发展，至1990年由此可北抵塘洁、天津、东
到大连、龙口、烟台、乳山、青岛，南到港江等地。
