    1955年至1979年，人民检察院未设置专门机构办理经济案件，但始终把经济案件
的检察作为检察院自侦工作的重要内容之一。1980年2月成立经济检察科，负责全面
检察经济案件，至1985年底，共受理经济案件40起41人，起诉人民法院12起13人，免
诉5起5人，共逮捕经济犯罪分子15人，其他处理的23起23人，为国家挽回经济损失
54700元。
