    该区包括惠民镇全部和香翟乡西南部19个自然村。水利条件较好，以引黄引河为
主，井灌为辅，灌溉面积占耕地面积的72.3％。地貌类型主要为微斜平地，少量
浅平洼地。耕层土壤为轻壤土和中壤土。全区人多地少，劳力充足，交通方便，发展
粮食、 瓜菜和工副业极为有利。1984年全区粮食平均亩产285.4公斤，粮食收入占农
业收入的34.6％；瓜菜平均亩收入600元，瓜菜收入占种植业总收入的5.1％。从
事工副业的3847人，占全区劳力的18.3％，工副业收入占农业总收入的31.3％。
