    1985年土壤普查，全县总面积2034457亩。其中：土地面积1853546亩，占总面积
的91.11％；水域面积180911亩，占8.89％。在土地面积中：居民工矿用地189563亩，
占土地面积的9.8％； 交通用地43704亩，占2.35％；特殊用地380亩，占0.05 4
％； 耕地面积1619899亩，占87.31％。在耕地面积中：农作物面积1378874亩，占耕
地面积的85.1％；园地面积15320亩，占0.95％；林地面积68685亩，占4.24％；牧草
地1599亩， 占0.97％； 疏林草地577亩， 占0.03％；未利用土地面积154844亩，占
8.75％。全县土地特点，平坦宽阔，且微地貌复杂，宜于农业机械化、专业化和区域
种植，又利于发展林、牧、副、渔业生产。
