    为繁荣经济，美化街容街貌，方便群众，堡集镇于1998年10月建成商贸一条街。大街东起徒骇河大堤，西至小王村口，全长约3公里，在原凤凰街的基础上扩建，政府出地皮，群众自建或单位部门兴建等形式，统一规划、统一标准，现已初具规模。沿街设有食品店、服装鞋帽店、农资综合服务、饭店、理发店等等。堡集大集也设在该街，促进了当地经济的发展。
