    为促进光彩事业一条街市场繁荣和保持良好的秩序，5月份，抽调业务骨干成立市场管理办公室，负责市场登记、经营场地安排及日常管理，维护正常秩序。该市场总面积15000平方米，共设摊位618个，主要经营服装、小百货、布匹、小吃等项目，1998年安置下岗职工500余人次。1998年5月份，与青岛澳柯玛集团联系，引进电冰柜40台，无偿发给下岗职工搞冷食经营，安置下岗职工40人。
