    蝗虫多在旱天发，荒地中起，掩天盖地，顷刻杀禾，建国前多用民挖壕沟、张旗鼓、树枝捕打，驱之入沟，以土掩灭，俗谓：打蚂蚱。
    1928年、1929年蝗；1932年蝗；1933年蝗；1935年蝗；1938年蝗，谷子无收；1939年蝗；1942年蝗。
    1951年北镇蝗；1960年5月在杨集乡南石洼建简易飞机场，第一次用飞机灭虫。1962年滨北蝗；1963年虫；1965年虫；1966年虫；1971年虫；1976年虫。
    作物虫害历年发生，因近年多用农药杀虫，故不能对作物生产造成致命危害。
