    饲料工业起步较晚。1983年滨州市粮食局在小营粮所和北镇粮所建饲料加工车间，1985年滨县在新滨城建1所饲料加工厂。全市年加工能力为万吨以上。1990年工业总产值117.72万元（包括两饲料加工车间）。占市属工业总产值的0.44%。
    滨州市饲料厂位于新滨城北隅，占地23.53亩，系全民所有制企业，隶属市粮食局。1985年建，时称滨县饲料厂，1987年易今名。现有职工41名，拥有固定资产原值84.9万元，工业总产值117.72万元，实现利润14.2万元，税金3.2万元。主要生产禽畜不同生长期需要的优质饲料和多种微量元素的全价饲料。
