    全县（城阳地区）历年平均降水量809毫米（1951-1995年）。年最大降水量1354.3毫米（1962年），年最少降水量448.9毫米（1981年）。
    由于受地形影响，全县降水量很不均匀。年降水量以县境东南部山区和中部平原一带最多，为850-900毫米；东部及南部沿沭河一带为次，在800毫米左右；北部碁山、东莞一带山岭地降水量最少，为750毫米左右。
    全年各月降水量以7月份最多，为249.7毫米，占年降水量的30.9％；1月份最少，为9.0毫米，占年降水量的1.1％。
