    全县认真贯彻落实国家计划生育政策，人口增幅较小，与1989年相比，2005年，全县仅增15182人，其中人口数量最多的1999年比1989年也只多出17619人。县内人口数量基本呈平缓发展态势，没有出现大起大落。
