       2004年9月，在经区工委组织部工资福利科增设统战与民族宗教事务科。2007年10月，更名为干部二科（统战与民族宗教事务科）。至2010年末，经区有佛教、基督教、天主教等宗教，信仰各种宗教的群众约3000人，以集中或分散的方式进行宗教活动。
