       境内沿岸位于北黄海，黄海外海水对水温年变化的影响十分显著。冬季渤、莱低温沿岸水沿山东半岛北部流至荣成市成山头、石岛一带，因而给这一带沿岸水温变化带来一定影响，使得水温年变化较之气温年变化有着明显的迟后现象，前者比后者落后2旬左右。
