       1992年10月，经区有街道办事处处属及以上内资企业21家，总产值为3.01亿元。1998年，全区规模以上内资工业企业数增至31家，总产值为15.6亿元，利税总额为1.11亿元。由于区划变动等原因，至2003年，全区规模以上工业企业数量增至98家，其中内资工业企业35家，产值39.15亿元。2010年，全区规模以上企业达202家，其中内资企业87家，总产值178.35亿元，占限额以上工业总产值的45.7%。
