       区内工业固体废弃物主要为电厂粉煤灰、炉渣，此类固体废弃物全部用于建筑材料生产，实现综合利用、变废为宝。
       区内产生的医疗废弃物全部运至威海市医疗垃圾集中处理站进行集中处置，其他工业危险废物如废乳化液、废有机溶剂等全部按要求运至有资质的单位进行处置。
