    境内食品加工业历史悠久。建国前有榨油、磨粉、酿酒、制酱、制糕点等私营作
坊。建国后由于农业、果业和渔业的发展，为食品工业提供了充足的原料来源，使乳
山成为全国食品加工重点县(市)之一。1995年，全市有镇以上粮油加工、饮料、酿造、
罐头、 乳品、糕点制作等工业企业26个，固定资产原值31987万元，职工7211人，产
值65334万元，利润2310万元。另有村办食品加工企业(点)百余个。
