    1950年7月1日， 乳山县中苏友好协会成立，下设14个区工作委员会，159个乡支
会，639个村支会，45个完全小学支会，共有会员128780名，占全县总人口的33.6％。
会员持会员证，佩戴会章。县中苏友好协会在上级协会的直接领导下，通过报告会、
图片展览、放映幻灯等形式，对会员进行国际主义教育，学习苏联工业、农业、科技
诸方面的先进经验。1958年10月，县中苏友好协会随撤县撤销。
