    1944年5月，县司法科成立徒刑犯人训育队，分男、女两个队， 对短期徒刑犯
人实行劳动改造。1945年，公安局成立押犯所，负责羁押监管未决人犯。1950年押
犯所改称看守所，负责关押、逮捕和刑事拘留人犯，并撤销犯人训育队。1984年始，
对判刑1年以内的人犯，留所执行，其余罪犯送上级劳改队执行。看守所设教育室、
文化室、医务室、犯人家属接待室。
