    全区有金桥境外就业服务有限公司（2002年11月成立，2007年5月获权）、威海三洋国际经济技术合作公司（2003年7月成立并获权）、威海佳信人力资源有限公司（2002年3月成立，2005年6月获权）3家具有对外经济合作经营资格的公司。2019年，全区共外派劳务人员1660人，其中海员1240人，主要派往巴拿马、伯利兹、日本、韩国，从事工种为海员、机械加工、食品制造等工作。
