    2019年，区发展和改革局制定《威海市文登区加快服务业发展的扶持意见》，加快发展生产性服务业，加大重点企业、重点项目扶持力度，推进“乡村振兴战略”载体建设，推动全区现代服务业集聚发展。是年，全区服务业实现增加值225.96亿元，比上年增长3.6%。全区共有17个项目被列为服务业重点项目，总投资56亿元，其中威海温泉溪谷养生休闲有限公司溪谷小镇康养智慧平台建设项目入选省级重大服务业项目，文登区西洋参特色小镇被认定为省级服务业特色小镇，威海金颐阳药业西洋参产业技术创新服务中心被批准为省级服务业创新中心。
