    2019年，区委老干部局（区委离退休干部工委与其合署）内设办公室、组织指导科、教育活动科、关心下一代办公室，下辖区老年大学（正科级事业单位）、区干部休养所（副科级事业单位）。区老年大学内设办公室、招生科、教务科，区干部休养所内设服务科、综合科。有工作人员25人，管理服务全区8300余名离退休干部，其中离休干部321人。先后被评为山东省老干部工作先进集体、威海市级文明单位等。“昆嵛红枫”老干部志愿服务队被评为“2019年度山东省学雷锋志愿服务‘四个100’先进典型”。
