    2015年，区环境保护局以提高环境质量、保障群众健康为核心，防控环境风险，加强制度建设和环境监管，推动环境保护各项工作不断发展。期间，未发生较大级以上环境污染事故。全区地表水、地下水、环境噪声以及近岸海域水质按功能区划均达到国家规定标准。全区化学需氧量排放总量9021.52吨、氨氮排放总量824.26吨、二氧化硫排放总量6450.08吨、氮氧化物排放总量5830.7吨，与2010年相比减排率分别为13.3%、11.86%、31.84%、15.51%，圆满完成十二五总量减排目标。
