【人口】  2014年末，全区有220891户582661人，其中男290995人，女291666人。年内，全区共出生5477人，其中男2819人，女2658人；死亡4866人，其中男2772人，女2094人。省内迁入1351人，省外迁入1312人。向省内本区外迁出1441人，向省外迁出779人；区内迁入2309人。    （邵丽娜）


【民族】  2014年，文登区内有汉族、佤族、满族、朝鲜族、蒙古族、回族、藏族、维吾尔族、苗族、彝族、壮族、布依族、侗族、瑶族、白族、土家族、哈尼族、傣族、黎族、傈僳族、畲族、高山族、拉祜族、水族、纳西族、景颇族、土族、达尔族、仫佬族、布朗族、仡佬族、锡伯族、普米族、乌孜别克族、鄂温克族共35个民族。年末，汉族占全区总人口的99.6%，少数民族占总人口的0.4%。（邵建胜）
