    1949年以前， 全县（现行区划）村镇有房屋371.16万平方米。1950～1978年，
村镇新建房屋547.65万平方米。1979～1990年，12年间，村镇新建房屋787.4万平方
米，是前29年的1.44倍。1990年底，全市乡镇村实际占地19万余亩，有住宅1442.6
万平方米，生产建筑1483万平方米，公共建筑163.2万平方米。
