    2018年，全区现代服务业工作以“四新”（新技术、新产业、新业态、新模式）为核心，以楼宇为载体，以专业化为方向，以生产性科技服务业为重点，大力开展招商引资、招才引智、招院引所工作。全区服务业经济呈稳中有升的发展态势。年内，实现服务业增加值216.8亿元，比上年增长8.5%，服务业对GDP增长的贡献率68.3%，拉动经济增长4.6%；服务业增加值占GDP比重54.8%，比上年增长0.8%。威海创新园建起综合服务中心1处，专业分中心9处，成为环翠区新旧动能加速转换的制高地。
