    2017年，全区国内经济合作以“招大引强”战略为总抓手，立足环翠科技产业园和威海创新园建设，参加威海市长三角地区健康医疗产业投资推介促进活动、北京健康医疗产业投资推介促进活动，赴上海现代服务业商会、宁波企业家商会、北京健康产业协会、中国华录集团等协会、集团，宣传推介环翠科技产业园和总部经济招商情况，争取吸引更多企业和项目到环翠区投资发展。年内，全区引进实施内资项目93个（年末经威海市商务局考核确认49个），利用市外资金154.3亿元，比上年增长15.11%，名列“四区”（环翠区、高区、经区、临港区）第一。
