    2016年，环翠区新增3家证券公司营业部。新增营业部正式开业1家：中信建投证券股份有限公司威海营业部；未开业两家：广州证券股份有限公司威海世昌大道证券营业部、光大证券股份有限公司威海海滨北路证券营业部（预计2017年3月13日开业）。因年内有中泰证券两家营业部合并，至年末，环翠区正式营业证券公司营业部为9家。
