    地处威海市区南部，东与经区泊于镇相邻，南依经区桥头镇、临港区草庙子镇，西北与嵩山街道办事处接壤，北接经区凤林街道办事处、崮山镇。镇政府驻双泉城社区，辖22个村民委员会、10个居民委员会，人口2.46万人，面积66.6平方公里。有中学1所（威海五中）、小学1所（温泉小学）、幼儿园6所。距威海火车站和汽车站5公里、威海港7公里、威海机场20公里，是进出威海市区的主要交通枢纽。
