    2014年，区园林局建立完善《防汛工作应急预案》和《清雪工作应急预案》，细化责任分工，建立层级式指挥调度系统，确保清雪防汛工作顺利开展。最大限度地把7月25日台风“麦德姆”带来的特大降雨及入冬后的降雪对人民群众生命和财产安全造成的损失降到最低，先后出动清雪、防汛人员900余人次，应急车辆180辆次，应急物资700件。此外，组织人员对昆明路、青岛路、世昌大道等重要路段绿化带安装挡雪板1.5万平方米，最大限度减少融雪剂对苗木的损坏。
